Last week, the Content Repository for Java Technology 2.0 (JSR 283) had its early draft review released. Most changes seem centered on clarification of how XPath works within JCR, as well as some clarification on references.JCR 1.0 now has a number of implementations: Jackrabbit, CRX (from Day Software, the sponsors of the spec), Alfresco, Magnolia, and a number of other projects all comply with JSR-170. What have your experiences been with the topic of content management, and with JCR in particular?
What do you expect to see out of JCR 2.0?
