YouTube Vs FileNet

Nowadays I do some market analysis in my spare time (I'm new in this).
I notice a strange comparison

In August 2006 IBM acquired FileNet for 1.6$ Billion
In November 2006 Google acquired YouTube for 1.6$ Billion

Note that:

Many questions raised in my mind.
What is the market size of Online Video compared with ECM market?
How we explain the 2 deals ?

Afraid of Changing Java?

Here is a nice talk about changing java 1.4 , 5 , 6 and Java 7

http://www.theserverside.com/blogs/thread.tss?thread_id=43955&asrc=EM_NLN_953362&uid=5226420

My opinion is:

Java most widely used by Enterprise.Non of current existing Solutions will upgrade to a newer version.Like what happen in EJB , 80% of enterprise applications build @ 1.3 specs and not upgrades to 1.4 or EJB 3.

I think improving the performance of the JVM is more efficient than changing the language it self.
