Afraid of Changing Java?

My opinion is:

Java most widely used by Enterprise.Non of current existing Solutions will upgrade to a newer version.Like what happen in EJB , 80% of enterprise applications build @ 1.3 specs and not upgrades to 1.4 or EJB 3.

I think improving the performance of the JVM is more efficient than changing the language it self.
